| We invite you to visit one of our churches when you are in town. In each church you are welcome as you are. Usually someone visiting our area is not carrying "Sunday-Go-To-Meeting Clothes" and that is OK. You are welcome at each and every one. It matter's not which church you attend or what you wear. After all we all have the same goal in life's end. There are five churches in the townsite of Matagorda. This includes: Two Baptist One Episcopal One Methodist The Matagorda County Advocate of the Victoria Advocate, which comes out on Thursday's has as complete listing of the churches in Bay City and the surrounding areas as well as the Wednesday paper of The Bay City Tribune.
